 | Chenomx NMR Suite 7.0 Released!
|
In case you missed it, we recently launched our newest 7.0 version of Chenomx NMR Suite. Utilize the power and speed of metabolite assignments using our new cleaner interface and visual improvements. Read more about specific improvements
by clicking here.
If you want to try Chenomx
NMR Suite 7.0 for FREE then you can download it by clicking here.
You no longer need a license to try our demo version, but you will not be able
to save, print, or track any of your work unless you purchase a license.
If you are a Chenomx customer
who currently subscribes to Support and Maintenance then you are entitled to a
free upgrade to this latest version.
- Professional
and Standard Edition customers who are presently on maintenance
please click here to
download the newest version (you will need a new license before you can use all features in the software - your current maintenance status will be verified prior to a license being sent).
If you are a current Chenomx NMR Suite user, but do not currently
subscribe to Chenomx Support and Maintenance and would like to get this latest
version, you can try 7.0 for free, but need to contact us to get a quote
on your renewal price for a full license.Remember, if you want to take advantage of our valuable metabolic profiling services without purchasing an in-house license of our software, you can use our Contract Services division to send us samples for analysis. It is easy, economical, and powerful. Click here for more information. Finally, we have also made a few changes to our website including an FAQ section and a history of the improvements in every past release that can be found by clicking here. |
 | Publications Using Chenomx NMR Suite |
In the March 2010 online issue of Metabolomics, there was a study published by Alam et al. entitled 1H NMR metabonomic study of rat response to tri-phenyl phosphate and tri-butyl phosphate exposure. This paper extensively used the patented " Targeted Profiling" technology of Chenomx NMR Suite to characterize NMR metabolite profiles of rat urine following single dose exposure to either
tributyl phosphate (TBP, 15 mg/kg body weight) or triphenyl phosphate (TPP, 2
and 20 mg/kg body weight). Using the developed O-PLSDA models it was possible to clearly identify TBP or
TPP exposed animals. The performance of these models was validated using cross
validation and permutation testing. Utilizing the variable importance in
projection (VIP) coefficients from the O-PLSDA the metabolites that were most
responsible for the classification of TBP or TPP exposure were determined. This
initial study demonstrates the potential for NMR metabonomic studies for the
identification and separation of environmental exposure to organophosphates. To see the abstract and sign-in to read this paper click here. If you have published any material using Chenomx NMR Suite, please do not hesitate to let us know so that we can mention it in this newsletter. We would love to see it!

metabolite profiling services or software. |
 | Chenomx NMR Suite 7.0 Tips
|
When using the Profiler module in
Chenomx NMR Suite 7.0, remember you can now use the new single compound autofit feature. You can have Profiler automatically suggest a concentration and transforms for the currently selected compound, allowing you to focus your efforts on tasks like refining your overall analysis of the spectrum, or resolving overlapped compounds. To perform an auto fit you first need to select the compound in the Compound Table. If you do not see the compound in the Compound Table, select additional compound sets or use Quick Searches to find it. Then, on the Compound menu, click Selected Compound > Fit Automatically, or right-click on the compound and select Fit Automatically from the context menu. Presto! More FAQs. |
