MOZAMBIQUE SCHOOL SUPPLY COLLECTION


In addition to sending over the well pipe in the sea container, we will fill in the gaps with supplies that can be used by our school in Mozambique.

We are collecting: 
  • NEW notebooks, glue sticks, paper, crayons, markers, etc.   
  • New or very gently used shoes, tan/khaki pants and solid-colored polo shirts for school uniforms           
  • Backpacks

March 12: INTERNATIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL 6 p.m. 
"All-You-Can-Eat" Admission Fee:$10/adult & $5/child
This year's festival will benefit the Mozambique Scholarship Program
 
SATURDAY March 5, 5:00 p.m. Join us for an afternoon presentation by Pastor Gilberto Araujo, (Southern Africa Indian-Ocean Division Vice President). He will share with us what is going on at our very own New Hope Mahotas Adventist school and other schools in Africa built by Maranatha Volunteers International. Light refreshments following the program.

 

SUNDAY at 9:00 a.m., meet us in the parking lot for our latest PIPE LOADING PARTY! We'll load our 5th sea container that we are sending to Mozambique with well supplies which will provide clean, disease-free water to those in the surrounding community.  To learn more, visit here.

SATURDAY, March 12 at 6 p.m. is our 3rd International Food Festival. To participate with your country, please sign-up at the S.O.S. table in the lobby at New Hope or see/e-mail  Caryn Wooster. Sign-up deadline is this Saturday, March 5.
