There is lots to tell you this month, we have new pendants from CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements as well as more news about the new 5328 Xilion bead that will be replacing the 5301 bicone.
 
We have an exciting new workshop timetable running from
July - December with lots of old favourites and some brand new classes to help you increase your beading skills. To launch the new timetable we are holding a sampler evening, more detail in this email. We have increased our beading kits range and have created another index page to help you navigate our site.
 
Finally a big thank you to all of our customers who have asked after Hana and her daughter Leah (6 months already!). Both Hana and Leah are well. I have been meaning to update you on their progress but I keep forgetting. I do not have any photos of Leah to hand but there is a picture of both Hana and Leah on the baby expert website. Two New Bead Kits

With the recent addition of the handbag charm kit and now two more NEW kits, the cosmic square beaded pendant, requires peyote stitch (full instructions included) and 3 strand rainbow necklace, a straight forward stringing project using crimp beads.
We have also put all of our bead kits in one place with a new kit index to make it easier to find exactly what you want.

July - December Workshop Timetable

We have a range of brand new workshops as well as the favourites and the essential All Day Basics and All Day Intermediate workshops more details are on the website or come to our Workshop event to see the designs for yourself.

 
 
 
Workshop Launch and Evening Shopping Event
swarovski workshopCome and join us on Wednesday 17th June from 6pm to 8pm at the special launch of our new workshop timetable. There will be light refreshments, product demos, prize draws and a gallery of workshop inspired jewellery designs. 
 
 

The event will give you the opportunity to view all the jewellery made on each different workshop and ask any questions. There will also be a chance to win one of many prizes in our raffle, helping to raise money for the charity Shelter. 1st prize, a place on the workshop of your choice, 2nd prize £20 gift voucher and 3 runners up will be able to take home a piece of jewellery designed and made by the creative team at The Bead Shop.

The 5301 bicone bead is being upgraded to the new 5328 Xilion Bead which is very similar in dimensions and geometry. Extra facets have been added to reflect light and make this unique crystal shape even more brilliant!
