Ivy Suite Renovation, Part I
 
 Mission Completed!
 
  
The sitting room of the Ivy Suite/Room 5 is now renovated and restored! 
 
 The paint covering  the original 1830s wooden flooring was removed successfully.
 
"Green" products were used in the renovation, such as insulation made from recycled blue jeans. 
 
A more historic theme has been introduced. 
 
And we have added modern touches such as a cozy couch and a 50" plasma television.
 
New pictures will be uploaded to our website soon!
 
2nd Annual "Hops and Chops" July 4th celebration:
 
Join us for the 2nd Annual July 4th "Hops and Chops" and Fireworks celebration.
 
We plan to taste local microbrews and grill some locally raised chops (wine available for non-beer drinkers). After we are full, we will head to the County's 4th of July Festival, with music, entertainment and fireworks display. Held just 5 minutes from the Holladay House.
 
The Holladay House "Hops and Chops" is only $39/person -- just say "Hops and Chops" when you make your reservation! 
 
Stay a third night and we'll take 50% off your third night stay! (2-night minimum; based on availability.)

A 1st annual Downtown Orange event not to be missed!
Start the day with a Trash Rodeo: do a little work rounding up trash in the Town of Orange.  The Town Recycling Office will provide all the equipment needed.
 
Finish the day with a whole lot of fun eating ribs from three different local rib vendors, washing it down with a cool beer (or three), and listening to the sounds of Charlottesville's favorite bluesy Blues Farm Band.
