The Victorian Suite is now the John Madison Suite!

This room is now named after John Madison Chapman, the grand-nephew of President James Madison, and the second owner of this building (c.1840 - 1883).
 
We had a grand time digging through Montpelier's Special Collections (thank you Montpelier!), borrowing colors we discovered on the original woodwork, and searching on eBay for period lighting and paintings.

Holladay House "Hops and Chops" and 4th Fireworks!  
 
Virginia microbrews, grilled chops and sides, and a fireworks celebration for Independence Day!
 
 
Join us while we serve up local microbrews and grill some chops! At around 4:30pm, head over to the Orange County 4th of July festival "Picnic in the Park".  Enjoy music, entertainment and a fireworks display! Held at Booster Park just 5 minutes from the Holladay House. 
 
 
The Holladay House "Hops and Chops" is only $39/person -- just say "Hops and Chops" when you make your reservation!
 
Parking at Booster Park is $5/vehicle.
