Children In Film Photo Contest Tip of the Month: Appropriate patterns - Have you ever heard that patterns "jump" on camera? It definitely happens which is why you want to be very careful in choosing your patterns, plaids and prints. Damarr's photo (featured above) accomplishes the plaid quite well because it is not the focus of the picture, nor do we see a large portion of his shirt. When all else fails, choose a solid that compliments skin tone, eye color and hair.

Basic Members: Remember, everyone is eligible to participate in the photo contest, but you won't be considered if we don't have a picture of you. The best way to participate is to upload an image into your profile as soon as you create your account. New Photos: If you've been a member for a while (basic or enhanced) and want to make sure your newest photo is being considered, send a JPEG to us at contest@childreninfilm.com Photo Tips: The CIF Kidstart Program has lots of great tips on taking good photos.
