Children In Film Photo Contest Tip of the Month: Although your child might look super cute in their new hat, or may love to play dress up with tons of jewelry, neither of these items are typically appropriate for their headshots. Keep it simple! Head pieces, jewelry, too much makeup, other people in the same photo, and props are often time more of a distraction than a benefit.

Basic Members: Remember, everyone is eligible to participate in the photo contest, but you won't be considered if we don't have a picture of you. The best way to participate is to upload an image into your profile as soon as you create your account. New Photos: If you've been a member for a while (basic or enhanced) and want to make sure your newest photo is being considered, send a JPEG to us at contest@childreninfilm.com Photo Tips: The CIF Kidstart Program has lots of great tips on taking good photos.
