Giving Back:
Were you aware that ten percent of the gross proceeds from your Children In Film membership fees are donated to charity?
The
charities we have chosen work to raise money and awareness on key
issues that affect the education, health and welfare of children within the United States and around the
world. We also want to fund programs that inspire children to experience the benefits of personal and social responsibility.
One charity to which Children In Film proudly donates is "Charity Projects
Entertainment Fund" (CPEF). Last year CPEF, together with American Idol Productions, staged "Idol Gives Back," successfully raising millions of dollars for the benefit of children in both the United States and Africa.
Monies raised were distributed to many notable charities including, "Scholastic," "Save the Children," "The Boys & Girls Club of America," "The Children's Health Fund" and "Unicef."
Giving back is a great way to promote positive self-esteem and an understanding of the greater community. Best of all - it feels good!
This year "Idol Gives Back" is expected to be bigger than ever before with featured talent such as Miley Cyrus, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon and more.
"Idol Gives Back" is scheduled to air tonight on Fox at 7:30/6:30c.
