Greetings!
More fun nose work for your pet(s) is here--from Sweden, the Nina Ottosson puzzles, in washable plastic. Wellness Simple Solutions in Duck and Salmon flavors are now available. A useful hint for storing your dog supplements is included. Important note! April 20-26 we will be closed while at training. Be sure to plan ahead for supplies and food. |

Shop Closed Apr. 20, 6pm through Apr. 26 Be sure to mark you calendar, and pick up your food and supply needs. Our shop will be closed from 6:00pm on Tuesday, April 20, through Monday, April 26, 2010. Normal hours resume April 27.
Remember we have 24/7 pickup available, while we are in town, by prior arrangement, if you can't make it during normal shop hours.
Obedience classes will have a skip week on April 23 (no class) and resume on April 30, the following week.
Also, please remember we will be gone about 10 days in the latter half of June, exact dates still to be determined.

Rabies Vaccinations... The petition of Grateful Dogs of Juneau for an amendment to the state rabies control regulations has been denied by the Commissioner of Health and Social Services. Grateful Dogs petitioned to get authorization for a temporary deferral of the rabies vaccination requirement for dogs that are too ill to receive the rabies vaccine.
Although the petition was denied, Chava Lee, Director of the Gastineau Humane Society (GHS) has advised " Individuals who are concerned about their pet having a negative reaction from a rabies vaccination (or whose pet has had a negative rabies reaction) do have recourse. They need to contact animal control and animal control will let them know what they need to do."
We encourage you to contact GHS if you have any concerns or questions on this issue relative to getting their CBJ dog license.
