Greetings!
We are getting in lots of new inventory to get ready for Christmas, including treats and more Solid Gold inventory stocked, so plan ahead. Remember the shop closures in October and November and stock up so you don't run out of food, treats or supplies.
We are adding new services for your convenience and the well-being of your pets.
And also remember to keep those Halloween chocolates away from your pets (have them try the new Merrick sausages, instead).

 NEW TREATS for FALL (and Christmas stockings)!
Just in this week, all new treats: Flossies spiral chews, made of beef tendon, are a tasty dental hygiene treat for dogs; Gourmet Sausage treats from Merrick, French Country Cafe sausages, made with duck, carrots, garden peas, and Granny Smith apples; (a single source protein treat that is soft and juicy with fresh fruit and veggies, that can be served whole or sliced.); Red Barn Lamb and Rice Roll with mixed veggies, can be used as a treat or dog food. It is complete nutrition that is wheat free! Red Barn Chicken and Liver Roll--complete nutrition for all life stages, or use as treats. These 10 oz. dog food rolls equal two cans of dog food, containing three times the dry matter content of canned food, so you feed your dog 2/3 less per serving. We can also get them in larger size rolls. Bully Sticks from Free Range Brazilian beef cattle are 98% protein, with no hormones, antibiotics or animal by-products fed. Because they are only smoked and dried (vertically) they do not have an odor like other brands of bully sticks, and they do not have the processing chemicals used in rawhide chews. They are great for dental hygiene, too.

| New Service--after hours dog food pick up
To help accommodate the ever changing needs of our fast paced lives, we are adding an additional service, for those with emergency dog food pick-up needs.
To arrange picking up dog food and/or supplies, outside of our regular hours, simply call us at 790-3647, to leave your order and arrange the pick-up time. This will apply only when when we are in town, not during periods of shop closures. (Shop Closure information is always available on line at Shop Closures).
These orders must be pre-paid, and will be returned to the shop shelves if not picked up on the date scheduled, so we are not leaving them out for bear and other creature bait. There is an additional $25 fee, non-refundable, per order.

Canines Unlimited Shop Closures, October 21-30 and November 8-13, 2007
The shop will be closed October 21 through 30, for Quantum Touch training. It will also be a skip week for obedience classes (expiration dates extended).
We will also be closed November 8 through 13, for TTouch continuing education training.

Dog Dander--Believe it or not!
This is a picture of one of our dog dryer filters after just one day of drying dogs. The white speckles on the green mat, next to the pen, show the flecks of dog dander that came off the dogs during the drying process. The stripe on the filter on the left side shows the difference between the clean (black colored) filter area and the upper portion, covered in white dander.
This is a good example of that our power dryers can do towards getting your dog really clean, as opposed to letting them air dry or even kennel dry. These high speed forced air dryers are used during our professional groomings and as part of our Juneau Dog Wash (do-it-yourself). New Grooming Services Added to Professional Groomings
As you know, we are always working to find ways to improve our services and make your dog's professional grooming experience at Canines Unlimited superlative in all respects.
To all of our professional groomings we have now added a special "Spa Facial Scrub", with blueberry and fresh vanilla, to help cleanse and balance the complexion.
We have also added the Anaflora Flower Essence Recovery Remedy to the bath water of each professional grooming, to relax and balance each client (pet).
