Greetings!
The Sitka Chamber of Commerce Luncheon will be at noon on Wednesday, March 14th. Please join us for an open dialog with Tim J Fulton, the Sitka School Board Clerk and Mike Vieira, Sitka High Schools Activities Director as they explore better ways to fund Sitka's school activities.
Sitka's business community does a lot to help our students to be able to participate in activities. Tim and Mike would like to get their input and discuss the idea of forming a non-profit specific to helping fund activities for all students. The goal would be to look for ideas that might lessen the impact of what business's contribute while assuring that all students have the same opportunities.
For lunch, Chef Randy will have a beef soft taco buffet set up with re-fried beans, Spanish rice and all of the extra fixings. The Sitka Chamber of Commerce luncheons are held on Wednesdays at Noon at the Westmark Sitka. They are always open to the public. For more information, call the Chamber office at 747-8604.

From The Director
Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this year's banquet a huge success! Pictures will be up on our Facebook Page very soon!
I want to take a moment to mention what an amazing board of directors that the Sitka Chamber has. It is great to work with such an enthusiastic and involved group of people. Whether it is organizing a banquet or speaking out for Sitka's Business needs, they are making things happen and it is exciting to be a part of it!
See you at lunch, have a great week, and as always, thanks for reading! "Do the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest. " - Mark Twain
