BUSINESS CLIMATE SURVEY

Greetings Business and Community Leaders:

The Juneau Economic Development Council and Southeast Conference need your opinion about the economic climate in Southeast Alaska.

Please fill out our

You can link to it directly here:

http://www.fmrsurvey.com/JEDC/EDCS/EDCSlogn.htm.

It will take a short amount of your time and you will provide valuable input for understanding and, eventually,  improving the region's business climate.  This survey is for business owners and managers, employees, civic leaders and community members - anyone that has an interest in the economic future of our region should complete the survey.

This survey is being conducted under a contract awarded by the USDA Forest Service to JEDC. Other partners in the Southeast Cluster Initiative include Southeast Conference, Sheinberg Associates, Alaska Map Company, and consultants Brian Kelsey and Ted Lyman -- a collaboration that brings regional, national, and world-renowned expertise to the project.  If you are interested in finding out more information regarding this project, you can find it here: http://jedc.org/assetmapping.php.

Thank you!

Your voice matters.

SALES TAX FREE DAYS
Sitkans will again enjoy two Sales Tax Free shopping days, on November 26 and 27, right after Thanksgiving. Check out your local stores, who are sure to offer some deals you can't resist.

Every time we spend our money locally, the dollars return to us through more goods and services  purchased, more jobs, more sales tax revenues generated and more dollars supporting local charities and schools.
Thank you Sitka Assembly, for recognizing the value of the Sales Tax Free Holidays.
Thank you Sitkans for shopping locally.
