ALASKA DAY FESTIVITIES
Check out the calendar of events for this year's Alaska Day Festival. There's something fun for everyone.
- The Alaska Day Ball is on Saturday, October 16.
- The Alaska Day Parade is on Monday, October 18, with the reenactment ceremony to follow.
The Alaska Day Festival is coordinated by the Alaska Day Festival committee, who meet year round to plan for the week. Ted Allio, Chairman, can be reached at 747-5124.

LISA MURKOWSKI TO ATTEND ALASKA DAY BALL
Senator Lisa Murkowski will make a brief stop in Sitka to attend the Alaska Day Ball, Saturday, October 16. Senator Murkowski is the first Alaskan born Senator to serve the
state and only the sixth United States Senator from Alaska.
