SEASON'S END CELEBRATION
Hooray for the end of Summer & beginning of Fall! Mother Nature reminded us, last Saturday, that it really is fall now. Our 3rd annual Season's End Celebration, including the 16th annual 'Running of the Boots' was a big success in spite of the weather.
A big thank you to the Alaska Cruise Association who again sponsored this celebration as a way of thanking Sitka for hosting their passengers throughout the summer.
Thanks also to Seafood Producers Coop, Sitka Sound Seafoods, and Silver Bay Seafoods for providing the wonderful grilled fish and coleslaw, and to Allen Marine for the drinks. Sitka Counseling & Prevention Services also provided support for this year's celebration. We'll have pictures up on our website soon.
