Many thanks from us to the Alaska Cruise Association and Holland America's Zaandam for the environmental tour last Tuesday. About 20 people got a tour of the kitchen, recycle center, engine room and bridge and learned about how the cruise lines are working to mitigate the impact of their ships on our environment.
