SITKA LULLABY
Ocean & mountains
Composer, David Ackerman, has written a beautiful Sitka Lullaby to remember his first visit to this beautiful place we call home. He has gifted the song to us, and you can hear it on our website by clicking on the link just below the picture of Alexander Baranov.

Mr. Ackerman was the Associate Conductor of the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra in Denver, Colorado for the past 19 years. He is now working on a Sitka Suite, which should be complete this spring. He and his wife are looking forward to visiting Sitka again this June. We hope to have him as a guest presenter at one of our luncheons.
CHOCOLATE SATURDAY IN SITKA!

Chocolate treats of all kinds will be offered, along with special mid-winter sales, on
Saturday, February 13, 2010.

Watch for special promotions and posters in store windows of participating merchants.
