Q: If I'm buying from an Internet Dealer that has a great reputation, can I buy with confidence?
A: The question is who are you really buying it from. Many of the larger internet retailers have allowed "partners" to sell on their sites. What that means is you're not really buying from the retailer. So how do you know? Do a little investigating before you buy. Click on the dealer's "About Us" section. Do they have a phone number if you have questions? No? Why not? If they show an address, check them out using a site like maps.google.com (click on the "street view"). You might be surprised at how many of those addresses are actually residential or post office boxes. Is that where you want to go for technical support? The bottom line is always "buyer beware."
