Refurb Sale - 20% off
Save 20% on refurbished systems
We've got just a few systems that cannot be sold as new. Primarily, these have been used for demos at trade shows, software development, or for some other reason cannot be sold as new. They come with the full warranty and are completely refurbished and electrically tested. But they are used and there may be a slight blemish somewhere - mostly where you can't see it once installed. All screens are good. We only have a few of these to offer. Call 505 715-6172 and ask for the sale items.
VP-100/200 systems are 20% off, VP-50 and wiring harnesses not included in program.

High-Tech Panel in RV-8 See Vertical Power in action!
Matt Dralle is making steady progress his RV-8, and has put together the most glass I have ever seen in an RV-8! He has three GRT HX screens, a VP-200, SL-30 radio, and a DVD player. The VP-200 Control Unit mounts in the baggage compartment, one of several locations in an RV-8 where it can be mounted. Matt has wired backup circuits for the EFIS/AHRS and the radio. He made a panel mockup from lexan to ensure fit, then had the final panel machined from 0.125 thick aluminum. He also machined part of the panel on the back side around the VP-200 Display Unit to get a flush fit on the front side, since the DU is sized for .063 thick panels. The trim and flaps are controlled from switches on both the front and rear sticks.

Need help with wiring?
Not sure about electrical wiring or have questions? Many of our customers plan their entire electrical system before purchasing anything.

We recommend that you think about your panel and wiring the airframe early in the build process. It gives you plenty of time for revisions and to think things through. Use the Load Planning Worksheet (avail on the VP web site here). And while you are building the fuselage, you can drill holes, run conduit, install clamps, and whatever else needs to be done so that wiring is less work later on when the fuselage is closed up. Give us a call.
