Wiring Even Easier
Fast Stack and Vertical Power - now faster!

If you like the idea of simplified wiring, the Approach Fast Stack is something you should look at. It simplifies avionics data wiring, and Vertical Power simplifies power wiring. Put the two together, and you have a very clean installation!
Fast Stack will crimp the power connector pins to the power wires on their connectors, so you simply have to install them in the VP Control Unit connector. Please contact Fast Stack for details.

Fast Stack

Better Garmin G900X Interface
Engine data now provided by Garmin
G900X
Good news! The Garmin G900X now outputs piston engine data directly to the VP-200. Previously, customers had to install a separate engine monitor for the VP-200, but now can use the same data as the G900X uses.

Please see the latest VP-200 installation manual section 4.16 for details, available here.

Ground Power
Wiring details for ground power

Want to add a ground power receptacle to power the aircraft?

Ground Power

Click here to go to the Documents page, and scroll down to the the Electrical Wiring Diagrams section.

When you tun on the VP-200, it will recognize that ground power is connected and close all the contactors. The connection is annunciated on the screen. If an electric air conditioning compressor is installed, you can run that on the ground too.

The system may be wired to support this today, and software to enable full functionality will be available in an upcoming software release.
