Micro Breweries & Tours
There's a new brewery in town. Upslope Brewing Company is the ninth brewery in the city and they're putting their beer into cans. It's the latest trend in microbrews. Two of the breweries, Boulder Beer and Avery Brewing Company, offer regularly scheduled tours and all nine breweries offer tastings.
Upslope is new and not yet on the map. The brewery is located north of town and is open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. |

Free Live Music Outdoors
There is free music almost every day of the week this summer. It's your chance to listen to music and feel like a local in some of Boulder's favorite spots. There is a concert series on Pearl Street Wednesday nights and Friday afternoons. The St Julien Hotel and Spa has live music outside on its patio almost every night. Twenty Ninth Street has music on Saturday nights and there's plenty of adjacent dining and shopping, too. The Boulder Concert Band plays on Monday night's in city parks. And on Friday nights the FAC Rockin' the Gardens concert series takes place on the big patio at the Millennium Harvest House.

Boulder Tour is Tops The factory tour at Celestial Seasonings is a must. It's where you will see leaves turned into tea and tea turned into teabags. You'll watch the artful boxes get filled with teabags, smell mint in the mint room and taste teas in the lobby. The gift shop is excellent. Plus the tour was picked by USA Weekend as one of the top ten "must-see, no-cost" travel destinations in the country. Tours happen every day on the hour. |
