Napa Valley of Beer
Explore Boulder's Brewpubs
Colorado is sometimes called the Napa Valley of Beer. Surprisingly, there are eight breweries in Boulder alone and they all have tasting rooms. This brochure has maps, descriptions and hours to help you discover them.
Boulder Beer can now even be found at the Denver International Airport. Look for the Boulder Beer Tap House in the Main Terminal next to the security line. It is a fun place to start your vacation or be the designated meeting spot to wait for your friends.
Drink responsibly, please.

Green Fun!
Tours, hikes, and even shopping are where you'll see green in action.
A recycling station at the Boulder Farmers' Market
Boulder has what it takes to make a town green - a strong recycling program, green hotels, organic restaurants, a network of trails and fresh thinking. Boulder is a recognized leader in environmentalism. A new brochure is full of ways for visitors and locals to see "green" in action:
- Tour a wind technology center at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory
- Eat at The Kitchen - Sunset magazine named it "The Greenest Restaurant in the West"
- Explore a weather trail on a hike at the National Center for Atmospheric Research
- Wander through our newest retail district, Twenty Ninth Street, and see almost a dozen scientific displays including a 35' rocket that went into space
- Smell the tea on a tour at Celestial Seasonings Tea Company. See tea leaves turn into tea bags and see tea bags go into boxes. This is one of many natural food companies in town.
