At a board meeting earlier this year, Global Health Ministries approved the full integration of GHAP into the operations and budget of the organization. In introducing the proposal, Rev. Tim Iverson, GHM's executive director, said
"the program has demonstrated in the nearly three and one half years since its inception that short-term volunteer consultants/trainers can make significant contributions towards enhancing the management practices of our partner hospitals and health care programs. Cindy Wilke, GHAP director, has led in the development and piloting of GHAP, and is recruiting an excellent network of consultants and advisors to the effort. I see GHAP as an important instrument to advance the mission of GHM."

Finally, we are excited to share that we are starting a monthly newsletter devoted specifically to prayer support for GHAP. GHAP prayer partner, Janet Seim, has this to say, "Cindy shared her early visions for GHAP and enlisted me as a prayer partner. I didn't know what to pray for but was committed to daily asking for connections and clarity and to giving thanks for opportunities. Over time, I have been able to be more focused on specific needs and successes at the leading of the Holy Spirit."
We are now asking for others to join in the prayer support network for GHAP. No special skills are needed to serve as a prayer partner; it doesn't involve travel to distant lands, shots or unfamiliar food. Just tell us you want to receive the newsletter and commit to regular prayer for the GHAP community."
To join the prayer newsletter, contact Janet Seim or Cindy Wilke.
