It's with surprise and appreciation that
we deeply thank the Jury of the
Festival du Film de Strasbourg for having awarded Children Of Manila in the category:
La réalisation intégrale.
Filming "Children of Manila" has been a great professional and personal experience for the crew. On a professional level, the locations and the situations encountered by the crew were often rough and sometimes dangerous, given the sensitivity of the subject and the extreme living conditions of many of the people we filmed and met.
The main focus throughout the project was to capture and present the reality of the situations in which families and children
