Deadlines are for registration, you have 30 days more to submit the copy of your film.

I remember one of Rachel Bavidge's (Lara in the film) first comments about the script when she saw it was "here's a lot in it isn't there" I knew this was one of the major challenges. There is a lot of lot in it for a short film. I knew that if I was going to make a film that didn't outstay it's welcome I would have to use every bit of directorial judgement I could muster.
Energy! is about a woman that is looking her identity in this world, just something that makes her feel that life has some... "sense" or meaning. This is more or less the mood I was in when I was writing the script.

Congratulations to Jan-Eje Ferling, director of FINAL CURTAIN CALL, winner of the Best Direction Award in the 2007 San Francisco Short Film Festival.
