Hi there-
I'm so sorry it's been a long time since I've written. There's so much going on, this might be a long one. But it's very juicy, so read to the end. You'll be rewarded!
The Holidays are just around the corner and I'm beginning to panic. Are you?
I haven't been working out enough. Or at all, really and it's KILLING me! I've vowed to get back in the game (and into shape). I've started a hoop dancing class, it's so much fun!
(I took this photo of myself while sitting at McCormick & Kuletto's in Ghiredelli Square/San Francisco during Fleet Week. It was beautiful, but VERY loud!)

Once again, my recording of Bobby Sharp's "Unchain My Heart" has been placed in a feature film. It's a horror film called Book of Blood starring Jonas Armstrong who my daughter tells me is in the popular TV show Robin Hood. It will be released in 2009. I'll keep you posted.

Natasha Joins Teatro Zinzanni!
I got to fulfill one of my dreams by performing at Teatro Zinzanni's "Cabaret Lunatique" on Nov 8! This is one of my VERY favorite shows, and for one night I got to be a part of it! The show started at 11:30p and I wasn't home until 2a! I felt like a teenager again! I can't remember the last time I was out (much less awake) until 2!
If you've never been to Teatro, treat yourself! It's exquisite!
Billboard Sighting
Another billboard fairy has struck Oakland and San Francisco. Natasha and Bobby Sharp are prominently featured on a 48' x 12' billboard and are attracting lots of attention and enjoying occasional ego swells.

Natasha on the Grammy Ballot!
It's a long shot, but I just sent in my Grammy Ballot in which I voted for myself in a couple of categories. There were a LOT of wonderful musicians on it this year, and one day I hope to be in the top 5 and possibly WIN one. For now, I'm happy to be included and to attend the Grammy's in February.
ASCAP Plus award
I've
been graciously awarded an ASCAP Plus award by the Association of
Songwriters, Composers and Publishers based in New York City, NY. This
is a great honor as I'm keeping the company of many wonderful
songwriters.
