Bay Area vocalist Natasha Miller returns to Kuumbwa for an evening of new songs and favorite classics. Featured on her new recording, Don’t Move (Poignant Records), Natasha’s repertoire includes songs written by 83 year-old songwriter Bobby Sharp and arranged by first-class West Coast pianists for a three-piece horn section and string ensemble. While Natasha’s flawless phrasing turns any performance into an intimate engagement, the expanded ensemble calls to mind the Stan Kenton Orchestra or Nelson Riddle’s full string section, making it a truly swinging affair. Joining Natasha Miller will be Josh Nelson, piano; Dan Feiszli on bass, Jeff Marrs on drums and Adam Theis on Trombone.
