FIRE, FIRE, FIRE!!!

Jas 3:5-6 CEV  Our tongues are small too, and yet they brag about big things. It takes only a spark to start a forest fire!  (6)  The tongue is like a spark. It is an evil power that dirties the rest of the body and sets a person's entire life on fire with flames that come from hell itself.

God has been dealing with us, since the beginning of the year, about getting back to the basic. One of the areas we have been dealing with has been over the subject of the tongue and the words we speak. This is an area that you cannot leave uncontrolled for any length of time because it will change the course of your life. If you want to go in the right direction you will have to go there on purpose, meaning you will have to set your course then follow it. That is done by the good, positive, words we speak on purpose to guide our life; God's Word in our mouth!

Think on this, there are two types of fires; one is a controlled fire-like in your fire place or a bar-b-q pit, the other is a wildfire-which destroys because it is out of control. My question for you is this, which fire is coming out of your mouth?

PASTORS' BREAKFAST

We are looking forward to having our first official guest speaker from the states, Pastor Andy Andrews, for the month of October! This is part of the vision we have for these breakfasts is to have special guests coming in several times through out the year to impart into the lives of the pastors here. God loves these Peruvian pastors and wives so very much and only wants the best for them and their perspective churches. Please continue to prayer for the growth of these meetings, our goal is to be able to minister to one-hundred plus pastors and wives!

PLANNING 

Now that we are back in Arequipa and have readjusted after being in the states for almost two months we will now concentrate on our

schedule for the rest of this year. Apart from doing leadership and helps seminar we are now ready and fired up to start sharing more on the basics of faith! We are sensing in our spirits, along with our good friends Rev. Darrell & Donnia Alexander, the time is ready and ripe for the faith message to go forth as never before! MISSION TRIPS  

We are in the process and making planes with the Alexanders for a mission trip of two or three pastors from the states for the month of November. I will post more information of this visit as we advance with our plans. This is another part of our vision that we are in the process of developing more. We are thrilled and honor to be able to host any group that would like to see first hand the missionary's life.
