I cannot believe that it is almost time for our trip to the USA, my how time flies! On October 11, I will arrive in Houston which is our home base of travel. From there I will travel to Oklahoma and Missouri and possibly also to Colorado for the first time. Ximena will not be with me this trip but will accompany me on a second trip planned sometime in April or maybe sooner in 2011. Thank God she was blessed to get a ten year visa so we don't have to go through all the red tape of applying each year. Presently I am working on an itinerary that I will be following while in the states and will post it a little later this month in my website. We are expecting this to be one of our best trips back to the states and would like for you to add your faith with ours for the following needs:

·         Adequate transportation to be able to get around to visit churches, partners, family and friends

·         Divine appointments, connections, with the development of new relationships and friendships

·         Open doors and hearts to be able to share our vision and the work we are doing as well as our plans for the near future

·         Increase of our monthly faithful partnership

·         More ministry helpers in Peru and in the USA

·         Last but not least a new camcorder with video editing software to be able to make DVD quality recorders of meetings.

In the winter of December 1993 God spoke to me in my mission class at Rhema USA to go to Peru. Not knowing all that this entailed I took steps to make that happen. Immediately upon graduating from Rhema, May 1994, I went on my first mission trip to Peru that same summer.  Three years later I went on my second trip and finally in the year 2000 I pursued my third trip which brings me to where I am today!

 Presently I am closely approaching eleven years on the mission field. My heart is set and fixed on only being in the middle of God's will for my life and not just doing my own thing. I tried it the other, doing my own thing and going my own way and there was no peace. I thank God for my training at RBTC and the importance of being Spirit lead and following the peace in your heart and not the confusion in your head. That has been the thing that has kept me stable all these years!

Anyway, the greater part of my time in Peru was focused on helping and being a blessing to one church but over the last few years God has been leading and directing me and opening doors for us to be able to be a blessing to more churches and pastors, helping them to equip their people. This, of course, was the intent of our vision from the beginning which at the time I did not see the impact nor the depth or scope nor how I would be able to make a difference in a country I didn't know neither spoke the language well enough to communicate. But God knew the plans He had for me!

In the coming issues we will be communicating more fully our plans to continue being a blessing in the country of Peru! Our heart is here and we want to allow God to use us anyway He wants so we can keep on making a difference impacting our small part of the world being faithful to the call we have to the nation of Peru!
