 LOOKING AHEAD TO 2010
We are looking forward to 2010 knowing this will be our best year yet, until 2011 because God can always outdo Himself. This will be the first year, since being on the mission field, that we will be able to concentrate 100% in the ministry and the work God has given us to do in Peru. I still remember while in my mission class, in Rhema Bible Training Center back in December 1993, when God spoke to me saying "YOU CAN GO TO PERU!" He didn't say I could go to Arequipa, Lima, Trujillo or just any other single city but He said I could go to Peru; that leaves the whole country wide open to be blessed by Him in whatever He gives us to do! Over the last two years we have been praying for specific direction in our endeavor to expand the work we are already doing. I know in my spirit that God is not done with us yet and wants to continue to impact the nation of Peru through our hands! As we make our plans for 2010 remember us in your prays; agreeing with us for the wisdom, finances, resources, people, connections, any and everything we will need to continue to go forward with God's plans for our life, ministry and marriage. Our heart is to always be in the middle of what God has for us to do, like Jesus said "NOT MY WILL BUT THY WILL BE DONE!" With that said we want you to know we are expecting great things from God as well as great things for God in the new year ;the time is short and each day we are one day closer to the coming of our LORD!

 DO NOT WEEP OVER WHAT YOU DO NOT HAVE BUT RATHER DECORATE WHAT YOU DO HAVE
One Christmas Eve, as late Christmas shoppers hurried along the street, a crippled newsboy stood on his crutches offering his papers to the passersby. He looked happy, and his crutches were decorated with evergreens. One man greeted him with a cheerful smile, "My boy, you surely have the Christmas spirit." The boy replied "What's the use of putting on a sour face? Sure, I am poor and lame, but that's no reason for looking glum. I won't get presents like other boys at Christmas, but I can have fun, too. So I decorated my crutches just to make them seem special for Christmas." If we go out to seek joy, it will elude us. If we go out to impart joy, we will find it. This Christmas, whether you have little or much, it makes no difference. It is your attitude that counts. |
