Greetings!
As you pull in the drive at Horses Help on Saturday April 24th you are struck with a beam of energy. Venders are setting up, Tacks Fifth Avenue is coming together, the horses are getting their morning hugs and groom and the music is stating to rumble in the back round. At 9am it is at full force as the Boy Scouts, Troop 526, present the flag and the national anthem. When you turn to the crowd you see beaming faces of excited riders and proud parents, family and friends all here to support them.
The riders were fantastic as they preformed a pattern to music and when their ride was complete they chose a trophy to take home and cherish forever. This is quite the task as many of our riders skimmed the trophy table looking for just the right memento to sum up their ride and represent the fun that that had on this wonderful Saturday at Horses Help. In the end, everyone went home a winner! Please enjoy the pictures and stories of our 2010 Horses Help Lifestyle Expo!

Thanks to Coca-cola we all stayed hydrated and enjoyed all of the flavors they have to offer! We would also like to thank the Pony Express team for doing a fabulous job feeding all of the bellies on site, they really do make a mean cheeseburger and we found out in one of our games they really have some killer moves! Volunteer Appreciation!
Without our volunteers none of this could happen! We thank our volunteers everyday but we truly can't thank them enough. Without the hard work and dedication from ALL of our volunteers we could not have the amazing programs and special events like the Lifestyle expo. There is something truly special about an individual who gives hole heartedly to an organization and asks only for a big smile from all of the riders at the end of the day. So next time you are on site please be sure to thank the volunteers and even if you are one of our prized volunteers be sure to thank the one standing on the other side of the horse!
