Greetings!

As we move into the traditional holiday season we are mindful of this historic year in the life and work of Omicron Delta Kappa. Since moving our national headquarters to our founding site, Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, we have been celebrated by many. Our visitors have been luminaries and local neighbors who stop by for a tour, sign the guest book and affirm our presence. The Alpha Circle, the first, is a link to both what was and what can be. Not far away is the Circle at Virginia Military Institute which has played a major role in the community, state and nation.

The O∆K governing Boards, the Society and Foundation, convened earlier this month in Roanoke, Virginia to conduct their semi-annual meetings. We are very fortunate to have diligent leaders serving in these important roles. As we move closer to the celebration of the 100th anniversary celebration in 2014 we are thankful and energized with the many activities of our Circles through America and the generosity of our members in service and financial support.

National Day of Service - December 3, 2010
Join Omicron Delta Kappa as we celebrate our second annual National Day of Service 2010-2011 on Friday, December 3, 2010!  This nation-wide event will be a united effort between OK Circles to create and participate in a service project that addresses specific needs within each campus or community.  OK changed the date to coincide with our Founder's Day and to celebrate one of the founding ideals of OK: service.  If you want to get involved check out the OK National Day of Service website to find out more information!

Already signed up to volunteer? Order your National Day of Service T-Shirt by contacting OK Fellow Matt Hopper.
