Greetings!
As the year winds to a close, we look back at all that you have helped us accomplish this year -- both to celebrate the significant achievements of children and families and to thank you for making this work possible. Below are some highlights of this year's accomplishments.
2011 Highlights
- 3,000 students attended school, from preschool to university, because of your support.
- Our 1,000th high school graduate crossed the stage, ready to embark on a professional career.
- A monthly average of 588 patients visited our medical clinic, and 1,808 prescriptions were filled.
- Affiliated families worked 4,748 sweat-equity hours to earn running water, stoves, and new homes.
- Social workers made an average of 462 home visits each month to our 1,563 families.
Now that our 25th anniversary is nearly over, we thank you for making hope real for the thousands of children and families who have come to us over the years. If you have plans to make a gift before year-end, here are three ways to make the season bright:
