insight and enthusiasm

St. Paul, Minn.- September 10, 2007 - Common Hope
welcomes Joanne Arnold back to the team as the new Development Director. After recently traveling to Guatemala this past February with a Common Hope volunteer
Vision Team, Arnold was struck by the organization's growth,
involvement and maturity.
"I'm delighted to be back
at Common Hope," said Arnold,
"helping more individuals become partners in this excellent non-profit
program."
Arnold brings 15 years of non-profit experience,
including six previous years with Common Hope. Having
worked directly with impoverished children and families in the U.S. and Africa,
studied human rights in Geneva,
and worked for Habitat for Humanity International, she has a strong commitment
to international development. Arnold also holds a degree in Public Policy from the
Hubert Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota.
As Development Director, Arnold will be providing direction and oversight to
annual giving, major gift solicitation, planned giving, special fundraising
events, capital campaigns, and marketing strategies.
