4th Annual SoWa Holiday Market offers a weekend of unique shopping. )

The SoWa Holiday Market is very excited to bring Boston-area holiday shoppers another year of creative, fun and unique gift buying from talented New England artisans Saturday December 8th through Sunday December 9th. Come in and meet the people who have crafted the jewelry, pottery, paintings, soaps, ornaments and more that will be making their way under the trees and into the homes of your family and friends.

SoWa's Cathedral High School Gym, located in Boston's trendy arts and media district, will be transformed into a spectacular holiday marketplace featuring 75 artisans from around New England. With a wide array of handmade offerings from the fashionably chic to the hip and cutting edge, shoppers are sure to find an original gift for everyone on their list.

To complete the holiday shopping experience, South End stores, restaurants and neighborhood galleries will be open in conjunction with the Holiday Market, offering special discounts found in our official program.

This years' show is sponsored by The Boston Globe's new publication for women, "Lola". To celebrate the November 16th launch of Lola, the Boston Globe will be hosting an exclusive first pick shopping event on Friday December 7th from 6:30-8:30pm. This will be an invite only event.

Chris Masci, founder and director of the SoWa Holiday Market is delighted with this year's assortment of original and innovative products. "We have always prided ourselves on bringing the best of New England handmade goods to South End of Boston and I think this year we have outdone ourselves"

The South End Holiday Market, in the heart of the SoWa Arts and Media District, will also provide free parking at 500 and 540 Harrison Avenue. The event hours are Saturday, December 8th, 10:00am ¬ 8:00pm and Saturday, December 9th, 10:00am ¬ 6:00pm. Admission is $5.00 and parking is free.
