Yesterday's Market of the Living Dead was a success! There were zombies and witches and skeletons (oh my)! The competition was fierce but in the end there can only be one "Top Zombie".

We had so many entrants into our 1st Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest that we had to extend the deadline! Judging was decided by polling vendors, customers and the occasional witch.

First Place - Jen with her "Cannibal Pumpkin"
Second Place - Scott with his "Conjoined Pumpkins"
Third Place - Theresita with her festive "Happy Halloween Pumpkin".

A big thank you to everyone who participated both in yesterdays events and at all of our markets during the 2007 season. Look for us December 8th and 9th at the SoWa Holiday Market located at The Cathedral High School Gym. Opening Weekend for the 2008 Open Market season will be May 24th and 25th - we hope to see you all then! Applications will be online this week!
