Greetings South End Open Marketers!
Hope you’re getting your fill of movies,
reading and relaxation this wet week, because
this weekend’s forecast is looking pleasantly
mild? Oh man, work! ;) Grab some coffee and
get ready, because last weekend was a smash!
A few gray skies didn’t stop the crowds who
rolled out for the great deals --including
JOHN MALCOVICH! Who, with his wife in tow,
did some pretty major damage much to the
surprise--and delight!--of the performing
vendors!
Here’s to a great beginning of the season,
and to another great weekend in the South End!

We're off to a roaring start, and we've got
the national and local press to prove it!
May's Lucky Magazine ran a feature on
our humble Market as "a great excuse to stay
in the city on a summer weekend", while
The Metro braved some gloomy weather
to come out and talk to our vendors who had
nothing but nice things to say!
It's because of people like you that
Yankee Magazine's editors gave us a
Best of New England Award. Citing us
as the
key to knowing
"what's in and more important, what's next,
in this wide-open emporium in the most
style-conscious corner of the hub." Aww
yeah!!
There was also a HUGE front page article in
this Sunday's Boston Globe Real Estate
section. The article talked about the Market
and the developer Mario Narcosia, the
man (and my landlord) responsible for SoWa,
Boston's hottest up and
coming new neighborhood. Additionally, the
South End News featured the Market for
the past two weeks on the front page. They
love us!
And don't forget to Tivo PBS's Fetch
on Tuesday, June 26th. Last June they filmed
a fabulous doggie fashion show at the Market.

Well, kinda. Thought you may as well
take some
of the pressure off of your Holiday shopping
season and opt to be a vendor instead! Just
think of the lines you'll avoid, besides,
successfully in our fourth year, we've got
the attention of Boston's chicest who know
that malls are soo passé. The deadline to
apply to our 4th annual Holiday Market is
July 31st-don't miss out!
