Greetings!
Semper Gumby. I recently heard that phrase used at a planning meeting and I loved it. It helped people stay loose and keep their options open. Too often the planning process only considers one path. And the more time people put into perfecting the objectives, timelines, and budgets of this one true path, the more rigid they get and the less likely they are to consider alternatives. You've got to ask yourself, when was the last time a plan actually go the way you expected it to? So, I encourage you to consider Semper Gumby as your motto when you plan.
Influence. Action. Change!™ - the Video I just posted a 5-minute video in which I talk about my excitement about what this new program can offer. I'm not suggesting this should replace your Saturday night plans and invite the neighbors over to watch it, but it might be worth a look. I am truly excited about Influence. Action. Change!(tm) and I thought you might be too. Influence. Action. Change (tm) - the Video You'll find a link to the written description of the program when you click on the video link. Here's what I said about the program in my last newsletter. . . You probably know that my work with change in organizations is based on what I learned at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland almost twenty years ago. And, since 1996, I have taught at the Institute a few weeks every year. I love that place. We have just designed a major new program that helps people working in organizations - executives, managers, coaches, consultants, individual contributors - build the support they need for their ideas and plans. Influence. Action. Change!(tm) combines online Podcasts and Webinars, group calls, one-on-one coaching, a couple of three-day sessions at the Gestalt Institute, and lots of support as people practice what they learn back on the job. I am very excited about this program. If you need to be able to influence others in order to get things accomplished, I hope you will take a look at Influence. Action. Change! (tm). If you like what you see, please consider signing up and then passing along this information to friends and colleagues. And if you have questions, give me a call or send me an e-mail. Working at the Institute is a labor of love for me and I never tire of talking about what we do. So it would be great to get to talk with you about what we are up to. Some of you write and ask, "When will you be conducting public workshops?" And I mumble that I rarely do them. Well, here it is. I will be co-leading this program with my good friend, Jacquie McLemore. So, if you want to work together this year, this would be your chance. The online phase of Influence. Action. Change! (tm) begins in May.
And Thanks to Readers of Beyond the Wall of Resistance
Thanks to those of you who completed the survey on what bonuses you'd like people to receive for purchasing the new paperback version of Beyond the Wall of Resistance. I will be offering a Podcast and a white paper that will show consultants and coaches how to effectively use the ideas in my book with your clients. That's what you asked for, so that's what you'll get when you purchase the book. More details soon. (But don't hesitate to purchase the book today, you'll still be eligible to get the Podcast and white paper.)
And continued thanks to those of you who have posted Amazon reviews. Those gestures mean a lot to me.

Warm
regards,
