We wanted to ask you to join with us in the recognition of Mother's Day and in the knowledge and appreciation that this world would not exist had it not been for mothers everywhere. Mothers Day is not the same date or month for every country. Being a U.S based company we mark this Sunday May 13th in observance. Some of us, have the memory of our mothers and the times we shared and it is a memory we carry with us always. Too many of us, have never met our mothers and yet she will always be a force in our thoughts. We do hope that this coming Mothers day will be a significant memory.
It would be remiss of us, if we did not share information about an organization that we found out about via the world wide web. It is in no way associated with Wonder Women.Org but has a message strong enough about mother's that we would like to make mention of and provide you with their link. News Updates And Opportunities
We would love for you to visit our new website and our store (more coming).The items are quite inspiring and are for women and men. If you are an artist or graphic designer (any where in the world) and you are interested in speaking with us about using one of your "women centric "images on our teeshirts etcetera, please communicate with us via email. SHOUT OUT! If you are a singer or performer in New York City, or you are planning a trip to New York City and you have interest in volunteering a performance at one of our events you should also reach out to us. We provide an excellent platform for talent through our events which are always very well received and we are looking to showcase women in a way that speaks to diversity of culture, fresh talent and experienced backgrounds. |
Events
Our last event "Rape is not a 4 Letter Word" was on April 26th and at this event we announced our decision to support Safe Horizon in their efforts to "move victims of violence from crisis to confidence". To demonstrate our commitment we have created a dedicated page on our website which includes a video and important links and we produced a line of tee shirts, also in our store to help raise funds for them. The event was very inspiring, uplifting and powerful this is exactly what our photos portray.
Our next events will be June 1 at the Rubin Museum and July 11th on the rooftop of the JCC in Manhattan. Please expect communications about these truly exciting events starting next week! Visit us here for a list of our past events that were all so very different and empowering in their own way! |
