Based on the flexible machine control platform by Schneider Electric, the Modicon M258 was developed for machine builders (OEMs) who design machines for packaging, conveying and/or storage, textile, and woodworkingby offering speed control, high-speed counting, motion, and communication networks.
The Modicon M258 logic controller is ideal for OEMs requiring performance and simplicity for installation and evolution.

Phoenix Contact is pleased to announce the addition of the FL WLAN 802.11 radios to its RAD-80211 product family. This family of radios adds IP65 housing style products to our existing WLAN line of products.
The 802.11 FL WLAN products offer expanded functionality from the existing WLAN products, while giving the flexibility of Ethernet access to applications where a control cabinet is not needed or not available.
To encourage the use of Surge Protection Devices (SPD) with wireless products, Phoenix Contact will extend the warranty on wireless radios to 5 years unconditional when used with a Phoenix Contact-recommended surge protection solution and Phoenix Contact power supply. Surge suppression from Phoenix Contact provides protection from harmful surges, significantly increasing uptime and extends overall lifetime.

Roxtec BG™ solutions for bonding and grounding
The new Roxtec BG™ cable entry system is certified to meet all major international electrical schemes. It provides bonding and grounding for low to high voltage applications when using metal clad or armored cables.
The Roxtec BG™ cable entry system is fire rated for wall and floor entries and IP 66/67, NEMA 4 rated for electrical enclosures, even with corrugated armored cable types. Hazardous location (Ex) certificates and reports from lightning protection testing are also available with Roxtec BG™ solutions.

Roxtec BG™ solutions are a direct replacement to cable glands, and provide up to 70% more area efficiency than cable glands.
