The Plein Air Junkies invite you to come and Paint out doors
Calling all artists to a Plein-air session at Boldt Castle Thousand Island, Wednesday June 27 Interested parties have until the June 25th to let us know if they are interested. We shall be car-pooling .
Departure 8:00 from Walmart parking / return around 7:00
We shall be car pooling. Drivers can expect to be paid app. 0.45 a km shared by passengers. Details will be sent to persons interested in going.Bring lunch and art equipment. We shall cross at the Boldt Castle Yacht House (20 minute shuttle $10,00) on the American side.
The shuttle boat from the Boldt Castle Yatch House at the cost of 10.00 each.This is over the first bridge at Thousand Island. We will not be crossing over to Welsley Island. You will need your passport. According to the confirmation email from Mr. Sanford 10.00 covers both the shuttle and the visit of the castle; however the publicity on the website states that the visit is $8.00. So be warned if you plan to visit the castle. Bring your lunch, bug spray as well as all you need to do your magic. Last shuttle 5:45. The City of Cornwall's Cultural Plan Committee teamed up with the Summer Arts in the Park programming and is looking for artists and artisans to participate in a pilot project of Visual ARTS IN THE PARK.
Whether you are a painter, sculptor, photographer or artisan we want you to join us in Lamoureux Park. Only $15.00 for the season per artist. Single day $5.00
