Calling all "Boiled Peanut" fanatics!Boiled Peanut Contest
The Inaugural Boiled Peanut Cook-off is this Thursday, August 30, 5:30 p.m. and the judging begins at 6:00 p.m.
42 Calhoun Street at the Carson Cottages (in the grassy area).
 
Bluffton Boilers was established in 2012 to help create the Lowcountry's first ever Boiled Peanut Cook-off. We are looking forward to this becoming a yearly event for the town of Bluffton and a chance for locals to get together and celebrate the official snack of the South Carolina, boiled peanuts. So come on down y'all and get your goober fix!
The categories are:
Traditional: Cook them how your Mama cooks them!
Cajun: A spicy twist on the traditional. Don't be shy bring on the heat!
Creative: Let your imagination fly. Anything goes!
