That's still not as long as Lutheran Social Services has been around. Come help LSS celebrate 140 years of service to people in New England, as well the heritage of golf, Thursday, May 17, at the Wachusett Country Club in West Boylston, Mass. Gloria Dei Fights Poverty, Injustice in Providence, R.I.
Coming next week: Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Providence, R.I., is an urban congregation fighting poverty and injustice in a city which has one of the highest unemployment rates in the country, especially among those who are Hispanic. Next week, we'll begin a six-part series highlighting the work of Gloria Dei. In the meantime, you can partner with Gloria Dei to help sustain its life-changing ministries until desperately-needed funds from grants arrive by the end of September, by making a donation through its website.
