Assembly Reg LogoIn order to register, you will need to know whether you are a voter or non-voter. If unclear about your status, speak with your pastor. Voters also will need to know their synod conference. Cost for registration is $90 through April 30

and will increase to $115 on May 1. Registration will close at 5 p.m. on June 7. There will be no on-site registration. In order to vote for synod bishop, synod officers, synod council members and voting members to the 2013 Churchwide Assembly, you must register for the synod assembly by the deadline. Retired rostered leaders not serving a congregation who desire to vote must register by May 25.

The assembly will be held June 8-10 at the MassMutual Center, Springfield, Mass., the site of the 2011 assembly. The theme, "Trusting in Partnership," will be modeled in welcoming representatives from Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, Lutheran World Relief, and the ELCA Washington Office. Our ELCA churchwide representative will be Presiding Bishop Mark Hanson, who will preside at the election of our new bishop.
