  • Sunday, October 9th, 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering Registration begins @ 2 PM. 
  • Midnight, Wednesday, October 12th: Deadline to sign up for the Adult Youth Leader Summit and Safe Church Training at Calumet.

Adult Youth Leader Summit @ Camp Calumet, Oct. 22-24 

 

Registration Deadline, Midnight, Wednesday, October 12th

The Fall 2011 Adult Youth Leader Summit will be held at Camp Calumet the weekend of October 22-24. This is a great opportunity to join other leaders for learning about the youth culture, resources and networking. Even if you are not attending the 2012 ELCA Youth Gathering there will be plenty of helpful info and resources for your Youth Ministry. Charlie Roberts, Lower Susquehanna Synod Director for Youth, and a member of the ELCA National Youth Gathering Staff will be our featured presenter. Safe Kids

October  23rd

1:30 - 5 PM. "Keeping Kids Safe in New England"

 

Registration Deadline Midnight, October 12th 

The training will be led by Dr, Bill Barter, a forensic psychologist and child abuse specialist from Portland. Dr. Barter is also Pastor of St. Ansgar in Portland. Participants will receive a certificate of completion from Eventus Maine LLC. Professionals needing CEUs or CMEs will obtain 3 contact hours of continuing education. If you are attending the Adult Youth Leader Summit please check the registration form that you will be remaining for the training. There is no additional cost for this. If you are attending the "Keeping Kids Safe  in New England" training only register here.

October 9th 2012 Gathering Registration Day

 

This Sunday, congregations from all over the ELCA will be participating in the Gathering Registration Sunday. Click here for resources to help celebrate Registration Sunday in your Congregation.  At Nativity Lutheran in North Conway, NH. Sunday we will introduce the leaders and youth who will be attending and show a video clip


Important! Registration opens online at 2 p.m. EDT, and will close when 39,000 participants are reached. Save time by pre-registering now!    

 

You will need your Congregational ID# to register. This is available from your church office or if there is a problem you can email me and I will look it up for you troser@nesynod.org

Got Musicians?
The Gathering is looking for youth who play instruments to participate in one of the many bands that will be playing for satellite Gathering activities. If you have youth who would be interested please send me their name and email address.

Be an Emcee!
Do you have a young person who would like to Emcee in front of 36,000 people? Check out the Emcee application page.
