Youth Matters @ Synod Assembly

Hopefully by now you have heard about the Youth Event at Synod Assembly for 9th through 12th grade youth. The event is an overnighter at Bethesda Lutheran in Springfield, Mass. Friday, June 3rd through Saturday June 4th. The cost is only $20 per person. It is a great opportunity to meet youth from the Synod and to participate in service projects to the people of Springfield. For all the details go to the Youth Matters page.

Youth Leader Summit @ Camp Calumet, October 22-24, 2011. A "Youth Leader Summit" for adult youth leaders will be held at camp Calumet the weekend of October 22-24. This is a great opportunity to join other leaders for learning about the youth culture, resources and networking. Charlie Roberts, Lower Susquehanna Synod Director for Youth, and a member of the ELCA National Youth Gathering Staff will be our featured presenter. The cost is only $100 per person. Save the date!Registration and more details will follow this summer.

Hammonasset 2011

September 10-12 2011

Planning for the 2011 Hammonasset began right after the 2010 event. This year's theme is "Serve Boldly"

If you haven't experienced this great event with your youth group this is the year to attend.

"Ripple" Featured in "The Lutheran"

The greater Burlington Vt. area youth ministry Cooperative is featured in the current issue of "The Lutheran". Ripple began last year when Ascension Lutheran, South Burlington, Vt. teamed up with nine other Lutheran, Episcopal, Presbyterian,Methodist and United Church of Christ congregations.
