STALLIONS IN THE HEADLINES

We are proud to announce that senior Shelby Baker has been named a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist.  Shelby's score on the PSAT test taken in the fall of his junior year qualified him for this extreme honor. Shelby will now compete to be a Finalist with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.  Pictured left.

Great job to the school community for their participation in the fall Blood Drive.  The American Red Cross collected 47 productive units, surpassing our 42 unit goal. Special thanks to student coordinators Nick Clarke, Torie Zwick, and Alyssa Sherman. Pictured left.

Next weekend, you may spot senior Taylor DeStefano and her mom, Michelle, volunteering at the annual New Albany Classic. This will be Taylor's second year volunteering for the event that raises money for the Columbus Coalition Against Family Violence.

SPIRITUAL REFLECTION

All that you do for love is love. Fatigue and even death itself accepted for motives of love is nothing else but love! Today is the feast of the Holy Cross. How beautiful and worthy of our love! It was hard work setting up the wood and erecting it on Calvary, but how happy are those who love the cross and carry it generously. It will appear in all its glory in the heavens when Christ Our Lord will come to judge the living and the dead. Heaven is the altar for all who are crucified; therefore, let us love the crosses that we meet as we go through life. (Letters 713; O. XV, pp. 101-102)
