SERVICE IS A STAPLE AT SFD
Make-A-Wish with the SFD Cheerleaders
The DeSales Cheerleading squads participated in the Make-A-Wish Foundation annual Walk-for-Wishes to help grant the wishes of children who are fighting life threatening medical conditions.  The squads raised over $1300 prior to walking a three mile course through the downtown Columbus area. Currently there are over 100 children in the Central Ohio area who are waiting for their wishes to be granted.  If you are interested in making a donation, you can contact the

A SUMMER TO REMEMBER

Senior Andrea Acquista had a summer to remember, competing at the Olympic Dive Trials in Seattle, Washington this past June.  She competed with Allie Alter, a New Albany resident (now attending LSU).  Although Andrea did not make the final cut, it was a dream come true competing among 70 of the best women divers in the country.  Her former teammates, Katie Bell and Abby Johnston were selected for 2 of the 5 spots.  Andrea pictured left and below with her teammate.
