FRESHMEN ORIENTATION: MONDAY, AUGUST 20
All incoming freshmen are required to attend the Freshmen Orientation. Check-in will take place in the Theater Lobby on the south side of the building starting at 8:30 AM. During the orientation,  you will receive your class schedule, locker assignment, homeroom, and will have the opportunity to explore the building. The spirit shop will be open to buy locks and Physical Education uniforms.

Please dress casually and wear a t-shirt that represents the school you are coming from. This will be a great time to meet some of your classmates and prepare for the opening day of school on Monday, August 27.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!
Once again, our opening day, August 27th, will be a Gala Celebration! The following are details for the day:
  • School will begin at our normal starting time: homeroom begins at 7:44am. Students will attend shorten classes.
  • Students are permitted to be out of uniform. Walking shorts or jeans, and tennis shoes or casual shoes are permitted; no sandals or flip-flops. Athletic shorts are not permitted this year due to the celebration of mass during our first day activities.
  • Each student will receive a free t-shirt upon arrival to school. Students must report to the gym upon arrival to collect their shirt. Every student will be expected to wear the shirt provided for them.
  • A Subway lunch will be provided at no charge for each student.
  • School will be dismissed at 1:30pm. Columbus busses will be here to transport at 1:30pm. Those who rely on Gahanna busses will need to arrange for a ride home on that day.
A special thanks to Khalia Carr and Katie Bailey for designing the Opening Day t-shirts (pictured above).

SPIRITUAL REFLECTION

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
