SUMMER MAILER 2012
A packet of information was mailed to each family containing important updates and events, as well as a copy of our Family Handbook and Volunteer Handbook.
 
The following is requested by SFDHS: 
 
1. Signed Family Handbook Compliance Form
 
2. Mailing Address for all Grandparents you wish to be invited to Grandparents Day -- please email the addresses to cofojohn@desales.co. Please note your student's name as well.
 
3. Volunteer Sign ups -- you (or your student) can return the Volunteer Form to the school or go to www.signupgenius.com to register online. Under the 'Find a Sign up' button at the top of SignUp genius' webpage, input Michele Moriarty's email address (mmoriart@ cdeducation.org), and click Volunteers.
 
A copy of all information sent in the summer mailer can be viewed on the school's website. Print (and post!) a copy of the summer mailer's cover information here.
TUITION AND STUDENT LIFE FEE DEADLINE
If you have not registered and submitted your student life fee ($415.00), the deadline to do so is July 1, 2012.
 
You also need to register through FACTS (found on the DeSales home page in the top right hand corner under the icon "Tuition Payment Plans") or prepay your tuition for next school year by July 1, 2012.

T-SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST
Do you have a student artist? A son or daughter who enjoys being creative? Or just looking for a summer project for your child? Participate in our T-shirt Design Contest!
 
Submit a design for next year's theme: Stallions United.  
 
Deadline: June 29, 2012

The 2012-13 theme is based on our summer reading, Outcasts United. It's a story about the challenges posed by our changing world, and reminds us of what is possible in this country when we put our values in action.  The Washington Post describes it as "an uplifting tale celebrating the most old-fashioned of virtues: hard work, self-discipline, regard for others."
 
This design will be printed on the Opening Day t-shirts (design can only be printed on one side of the t-shirt). 
 
HELPFUL TIP: To give your design a little more direction, you may incorporate the following words: service, family, faith, dedication, leaders, tradition, retreats, prayer, champions, creativity, knowledge, community, success, technology, spirit, hope, love, and fortitude. Good luck! 
 
UPCOMING EVENTS
4th of July Parade in Westerville - Cheer on members from the Championship Baseball and Boys Lacrosse teams who will be in the parade! Parade begins at 1:00 p.m. 

American Red Cross Summer Blood Drive
When: Monday, July 16 from 1pm to 6pm
Where: Franciscan Center

 

Sign up today to donate during our summer blood drive. Online sign-ups are taking place now. Visit redcrossblood.org, and enter our sponsor code (the sponsor code is SFDHS) to select your preferred donation time. 

Shamrock Club of Columbus Golf Outing
When: Saturday, July 28
