| Casino Success! |
This year over 450 people gathered for the Casino Royale Live and Silent Auction. Parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends joined together for a fun-filled night of delightful eating, over 300 silent and live auction bidding, and playing casino games for fabulous prizes. This year we were able to raise over $84,000 in net revenue! Proceeds support our co-curricular programs that feature athletics, performing arts and well over thirty clubs. Casino Attendees: Please take a minute to share your thoughts on the evening with this brief survey.

| Do you remember your first dance? First mass? | $25 first gift
Just as we all experienced many firsts during our years at St. Francis DeSales High School, your first gift to your alma mater will help shape the lives of today and tomorrow's students. We will close our fiscal year on June 30. We hope you will consider a gift of $25 for the 2012 Investing in a Champion Annual Fund. Click here to donate.

Lyann Walsh '04
Investigative Video Journalist
Texas Watchdog
Ever since she was a little girl, Lynn has found herself glued to the TV watching breaking news stories. She has always loved the fast paced environment that comes with the news industry and the opportunity to inform people about what's going on around them.
Lynn is currently a video journalist reporter for Texas Watchdog, a news website and training center that scrutinizes the actions of government agencies, bureaucracies, and politicians in the state of Texas.
She feels very fortunate for the opportunities that have come her way throughout the current trying times in the news business, and is extremely thankful for her great support system that has always encouraged her to follow her dreams. Being a journalist, Lynn has learned the importance of networking. She says, "Meet as many people as possible and experience life to its fullest. The more you experience the more you can impact a person's life and make a difference in the world."
